Now, Bourbon might be a small town, but it’s got a name that’s known around the world. And just like its namesake spirit, this town’s got a kick of history and a whole lotta character.

Bourbon Bridge: A Picture-Perfect Crossing

First stop, the Bourbon Bridge. This ain’t just any old bridge, folks. This historic bridge carries Route 66 over the Bourbeuse River, and it’s been doin’ that since way back when. Imagine all those classic cars and road-trippin’ families crossin’ this bridge over the years, headin’ west with big dreams and a whole lotta adventure ahead of ’em. Today, it’s not just a vital part of Route 66 history, but it’s also a darn good spot to snap a photo. So, get your cameras ready!

Bourbon Family Center: More Than Just Groceries

Next up, we’re headin’ to the Bourbon Family Center. Now, you might be thinkin’, “Big Mike, why you takin’ me to a grocery store?” Well, this ain’t your average grocery store, folks. This one’s got a giant Route 66 mural painted on the side of the building! It’s a colorful tribute to the Mother Road, and it’s a great spot to stop for a quick photo op and maybe grab a snack for the road.
